Channelling (2026)
We (Valerie LeBlanc and Daniel H. Dugas) are delighted to have the video program of Fundy included in the exhibition Channelling at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery in Charlottetown. The exhibition runs from June 13, 2026, to January 3, 2027, with an opening reception on June 20. Many thanks to curator Pan Wendt for including our work in this group exhibition.
“Inspired by a grand Victorian painting of an Alpine waterway commissioned by an eccentric German baron for his Nova Scotia mansion, this exhibition presents the work of contemporary East Coast artists grappling with the contradictory aesthetic inheritances of Romanticism and colonialism.”
